LAND ACCESS
Land access is important at the exploration, development and rehabilitation phases of most resources projects and is often a cause of conflict. Lawyers in the Resources Law Network have expertise in assisting clients undertake risk management and develop strategies for land access or in response to land access requests. They also have expertise in land-use negotiations; agreement-drafting; structuring impact assessment and control; and agreement monitoring and review, including all relevant processes under the Native Title Act 1993.
